Introducing Andrew, our senior ceramist and co-founder of the lab. He emerged from Tafe NSW in 2013, armed with a profound understanding of dental craftsmanship. With over a decade of experience, including five years at Australia's largest dental lab and more than three years working directly with a Specialist Prosthodontist, Andrew possesses a unique perspective gained from meeting patients in person and a deep understanding of dentist requirements.

Proficient in crafting exquisite crown and bridge designs, anterior cosmetic veneers, and navigating complex implant cases, Andrew seamlessly blends precision with creativity.

In addition to his mastery in ceramics, Andrew is a bilingual artisan, fluent in both Mandarin and English.

Tim Choie

Tim, co-founder and ceramist at Confident Smiles Dental Studio, brings 19 years of comprehensive experience to his craft. A graduate of the University of Otago in 2005, Tim is dedicated to excellence and patient satisfaction. His focus on precision and quality drives his commitment to advancing restorative practices through continuous improvement and collaborative efforts with dental professionals. Tim's diverse expertise spans CAD/CAM technology, veneers, crown and bridge work, and complex implants. With a rich professional journey that includes roles as a CAD Manager in a Milling Centre and Dental Laboratory Manager over the past 15 years, Tim embodies a passion for innovation and excellence in dental prosthetics.
